*You will provide analytical services to customers, either as an
independent analyst or as a member of an analytical team; use
independent judgment regarding methods, techniques, and evaluation
criteria; and provide applications within the context of specified
analytical requirements and customized data analysis projects for
internal and external customers.

*Your duties will include applying existing analytical procedures to
unique data structures; coordinating work with other groups to ensure product integrity and technical depth; planning, implementing, and adjusting scheduling strategy, based upon workload requirements; and performing other duties as assigned.

Essential

  • Master’s degree in statistics or a closely related field
  • Two years of experience analyzing data and/or teaching
  • Two years using the SAS system
  • Experience analyzing complex data structures requiring the sophisticated use of linear mixed model techniques

Additional

  • Extensive knowledge of the application of statistics using the SAS System
  • Experience programming in other languages, such as C
  • Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with people of various technical
    backgrounds
  • Ability to think analytically and relate statistical concepts and applications to statistical and non-statistical users
  • Minimal travel may be required
