Analyst – Analytics Team | ||
| Primary Duties and Responsibilities | The Analyst will report to a Director of Analytics and will have a number of important responsibilities, including:
v Interface with various database platforms to pull data and link them logically; know how to deal with the inherent structure of the data. v Use SAS to perform standard statistical analysis, profiling, reporting and model implementation v Under guidance of senior analysts, build various targeting and decision statistical models, such as linear regression, logistic, etc, that predict various business metrics. v Summarize and present results in document form for non-technical client audience that add insight to business questions.

Qualifications
|
To perform this job successfully the candidate must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
v 3+ years SAS programming experience and ability to use base SAS and SQL to deal with various data processing tasks; knowledge of R and Latent Gold a plus v Experience working with large datasets and complex relational data models. v Masters Degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics or other related filed v Effective oral and written communication skills v Proven self-starter v Ability and willingness to multitask on different projects and deadlines v Some experience in datamining and direct marketing campaigns
