JOB DESCRIPTION/TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Develop an end-to-end analytical architecture based on customer use case
  2. Transform the architecture into low level design components
  3. Allocate components and lead individual analysts towards completing the overall architecture with high quality and timely manner
  4. Maintain quality metrics and perform reviews with customer and upper management
  5. Transform, cleanse and profile data in preparation for multivariate analysis.
  6. Analyze and model statistical relationships. Methods used include: regression (multiple, logistic), clustering, segmentation, decision trees and neural networks.
  7. Document, plan and track project tasks.
  8. Present findings and recommendations to internal & external audiences.
  9. Perform and automate routine analytical tasks (such as model validation and pilot assessment)
  10. Program in SAS using DATA step, PROC’s and Macros or similar high-volume statistical package.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Must be a U.S Citizen.
  2. Must be willing to relocate to St. Louis, MO
  3. Masters or higher in Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics and Industrial Engineering with specialization on statistic or econometric methods.
  4. Experience with analytical techniques such as variable clustering, principal component analysis, regression (logistic and/or linear), decision trees (CHAID and/or CART) and neural networks.
  5. Familiarity with advanced analytical techniques such as survival analysis, genetic algorithms, optimization, network analytics and text mining.
  6. Ability to efficiently manipulate large data sets.
  7. Advanced programming abilities in SAS or similar high-volume statistical package.
  8. Ability to present and work with internal business partners and external clients to meet overall department goals.
  9. Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  10. Expert level experience with MS office package.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. PhD in Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics and Industrial Engineering with specialization on statistic or econometric methods.
  2. Programming experience in SQL
