Walter Reed Medical Center at Bethesda, Maryland is looking for a Biostatistician An except from the add: You will serve as the Biomedical Statistician at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) for service members with mild Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or psychological health conditions. You will be responsible for the formulation, planning and execution of multiple major statistical projects. You will apply advanced statistical theories and comprehensive professional knowledge in conducting medical research and to recommend improvements in study design and data collection. You will be a subject matter expert in biostatistics. You will develop and implement statistical methodology and procedures in supporting the clinical and laboratory research programs. You will provide technical support for the research teams on the use of commercial computer software for data analysis. You will develop computer programs for the statistical methodology. You will keep staff inform of relevant statistical developments. You will train NICoE clinicians on the topics related to research design and statistical methodology. You will develop course materials on statistical design and data analysis. You will teach and assist in series of statistical courses.
