Two Research Assistant/Research Associate posts in statistics are currently
being advertised at Imperial College

Salary Range:

£28,200 – £31,250 per annum (Research Assistant)

£28,200 – £40,720 per annum (Research Associate)

This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious individuals with an MSc or
equivalent (for appointment as Research Assistant) or a PhD or equivalent
(for appointment as Research Associate) in statistics, epidemiology or a
related quantitative subject to join the research team at the national
MRC-HPA Centre for Environment and Health
(http://www.environment-health.ac.uk/). The posts are based within the Small
Area Health Statistics Unit (SAHSU; http://www.sahsu.org.uk/) which is part
of the Centre.

The posts offer a unique opportunity to gain in-depth experience of using
routine health data, sophisticated exposure assessment and statistical
analysis methods (including Bayesian modelling) for epidemiological research,
with scope for developing your own research proposals and/or PhD project
(subject to funding) depending on level of appointment.
