Statistician at NASA Langley

NASA Langley is advertising an exciting opportunity for recent graduates (those who will have completed their degree by the August 2013 or have completed their degrees within the past two years)  as a Statistician and wanted to make the students of your school aware of this announcement.  Any U.S. citizen may apply.  This is not an internship but a full time, developmental civil service appointment.   This position will be filled at either the GS-7, 9 or GS-11 level (depending on level of education and/or experience) and has promotion potential to GS-13. Statisticians at NASA collaborate with engineers and physical scientists to strategically infuse statistical and probabilistic thinking into all aspects of program planning and execution from concept formulation through operations.
