OSU is looking for a visitor in the stat department.  The position is a solid one–up to two years, beginning in Fall (mid August) 2013, with a 2-2 teaching load for the two semesters.  Our hope is to find someone who is solid in the classroom and who is interested in research and who was off-cycle for last year’s hiring season.  Ideally, there would be research interaction with the folks here.  We have a big department with strong groups in Bayes (modelling, computation, spatial, etc.), machine learning/data mining/statistical learning, and several other areas.
