The North Carolina Chapter of the American Statistical Association (NC-ASA) is announcing its annual poster competition for undergraduate students and high school students in grades 9-12. High school students and undergraduate students are encouraged to submit title and abstract of their posters. The aim of this poster competition is to increase statistical awareness and understanding. Poster presenters will be invited to a one day symposium celebrating the international year of statistics in North Carolina. NC-ASA is awarding cash prizes and certificates for the competition.
The top undergraduate student poster will receive a cash award and a certificate. In addition, the top three high school student posters with each receive cash awards and certificates. Moreover, the top three posters will be sent off to the national ASA poster competition. Last year's national winners can be seen online.
