How-To: find info about a majordomo list.

Send an email to the list manager:	[Example]
To: majordomo@[domain] Subject: {Not Needed} Body: info [listname]	To: majordomo@stat.ncsu.edu Subject: Body: info job_info

Within a few minutes you should receive an email that will display the contents of the an info file. Some owners will not put any additional information into this file, while others will.

Example Output:

 Description: Job Postings in the Statistics Field [Approval Req.]

  List-Owner: job_info-owner@stat.ncsu.edu,
              NCSU Graduate School Administrator for Statistics Department.

Requirements: To become a member of this list you either have to be
              a current student in the NCSU Graduate Program in the
              Statistics Department or have graduated from this program.

    Postings: Postings are blocked from members.  Only the owner and the
              current Director of the Graduate Program can post information
              to this list.

              If you have postings you wish to advertise please send an
              email to job_post@stat.ncsu.edu and it will get forwarded to
              this list.

    Problems: If you have problems or questions reguarding the list and your
              access, please send an email to sysadmin@stat.ncsu.edu.
