(a) Using a 'put' statement, flag any purchases where the total cost doesn't match price times amount purchased. (b) One way to estimate my gas mileage (miles/gallon) to compute the mileage for each purchase and then take the average over purchases. Compute this using a PROC MEANS. (Yes, create a variable for the mileage for each purchase.) (c) Another way to estimate gas mileage is to find the total gas used and the total miles driven. Compute the needed information (total gas, total miles) using PROC MEANS. Submit your output and log and answer any questions. Some details/suggestions: Cut and paste your results from SAS windows to a word processor/editor and edit your submission so that it is understandable. Then email the results to me, making sure to send a copy to yourself and your colleagues. Create a directory for class material, and save your code in a recognizeable file
