There are 2 options for introduction classes:
- Option A:
- 10 hours of required courses and 6 hours of elective courses
- A grade of a 'C' or better is required in each course used toward the minor
- ST 305: Statistical Methods (4 cr)
- Option B:
- 12 hours of required courses and 3 hours of elective courses
- A grade of a 'C' or better is required in each course used toward the minor
- ST 311 and ST 312: Introduction to Statistics I (3 cr) and II (3 cr)
AND
ST 371: Introduction to Probability and Distribution Theory AND
ST 372: Introduction to Statistical Inference and Regression (6 cr)
OR
ST 421: Introduction to Mathematical Statistics I AND
ST 422: Introduction to Mathematical Statistics II (6 cr)
The following electives are available for Statistics Minors:
- ST 430: Introduction to Regression Analysis (3 cr)
- ST 431: Introduction to Experimental Design (3 cr)
- ST 432: Introduction to Survey Sampling (3 cr)
- ST 435: Statistical Methods for Quality and Productivity Improvement (3 cr)
- ST 445: Introduction to Statistical Computing and Data Management (3 cr)
- ST 495: Special Topics in Statistics (1-3 cr)
