The NCSU Statistics department SAS consultants provide assistance with statistical computing to researchers and graduate students affiliated with North Carolina State University. Assistance is provide for analyzing research data. Assistance is not provided with class work.

The SAS® System is the statistical software package supported by the consultants. Data analysis is the primary focus of the consulting.

Assistance is available with:

  • Reading complex data files
  • Importing and exporting data
  • Performing data accuracy checks
  • Performing complex data manipulation
  • Performing appropriate data analysis
  • Interpreting results
