Our Collection of Sample SAS Programs


Our SAS Short Course Sample Library

The programs we use in teaching SAS classes are available at: SAS Class Sample Programs.

These programs and data sets can be saved on a PC and used there by right clicking on the filename and choosing File --> Save As. Do not change the file names. The SAS data sets can be used on a PC as long as you are using some interation of version 8.

These programs can also be opened in a UNITY SAS Display Manager Session.

  1. Add sas: add sas
  2. Add the class locker: add sasclass_info
  3. Start SAS: sas &
  4. Include the program file into your program editor window using the include command or the pull-down-menus.
    For example: inc '/ncsu/sasclass_info/www/sasclass/anova.sas'
  5. Submit the program


SAS Sample Programs From Our Consulting Experiences

This is a very small collection of simple SAS programs that we use for our clients. They are organized by topic. Hopefully this set will grow as time allows.
