SAS OnlineDoc Version 8

SAS OnlineDoc Version 8 (Feb2000) is available at http://www.ncsu.edu/it/sas/help

SAS OnlineDoc(Feb2000) contains Version 8.0 documentation, including Experimental Procedures. OnlineDoc is searchable using either Netscape or IE. However, SAS OnlineDoc does not display correctly with Netscape 6 or higher. See the following SAS Note for more information: Search capability in SAS OnlineDoc using Netscape browsers

NCSU faculty, staff, and students may request a copy of SAS OnlineDoc using this Registration Form . You will be notified when the CDs are ready and you can pick them up in the Hillsborough Building, Room 208.

SAS OnlineDoc Version 9

SAS has provided access to SAS Version 9 OnLineDoc on their web site. You must register to use it, but there is no fee.

SAS System Help

OnlineDoc may be accessible from the SAS help menu. This depends on how SAS was installed. To access SAS OnlineDoc select, Help -->Books and Training --> SAS OnlineDoc.

Changes and Enhancements for each release of SAS are documented in the SAS Online Help. To access this information select, Help-->SAS System Help, or type help on the command line.

The tutorial "Getting Started With SAS Softare" is available at NCSU under the SAS Help Menu. This is true both on UNITY and on PCs. To access the tutorial select, Help --> Books and Training -->SAS OnlineTutor.
