ABSTRACT

Over the past 10 years, over 100,000 people have been introduced to statistical methods, and Black Belt courses have been taught throughout a number of America's leading companies. Are these courses doing more harm than good? Are people really learning useful statistical methods? How is the way these courses are being taught different from the traditional methods of teaching?
