"Meta-Analysis: Combining independent F-tests with environmental applications"

ABSTRACT

In this talk a problem of combining independent F-tests with an environmental application will be presented. In a canonical form, the problem boils down to combining two independent data sets from two multivariate normals with a common mean vector and different dispersion matrices, and testing a null hypothesis about the mean vector. Technical tool used is statistical invariance.
