"A Discussion of the Role of Statistics in Research Ethics"

ABSTRACT

Ethical issues and case studies from some representative application areas will be described. The effort is supported by a National Science Foundation Grant called LANGURE, the lead institution for which is NCSU. The seminar is designed to provoke discussion and suggestions from the faculty for input into the module. Dr. Nelson is a Professor Emeritus in the NCSU Statistics Department and now serves as Assistant Dean for International Programs for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at NCSU.
