The Coolest Thing You've Ever Learned in R

Abstract

R you ready? If you live in R^3 (ignoring the temporal dimension) I invite you to join this presentation for a rundown of some programming commands and tips that I find to be very useful. As a brief description, I will first be going over some generic tips for sorting, naming, and error handling (useful for simulations on the cluster!). Then I have a section on graphics including pdf output, symbolic pretty printing and shading. I will close with my favorite command of all time, which I most certainly cannot spoil here. Disclaimer: I do not claim to be the most efficient programmer of all time, and I'm likely not even the 2nd best. If anyone has easier or faster ways to accomplish any of what I am presenting I encourage him/her to let me know!

Feel free to bring laptops and please follow along with this sample code.
